Frequently asked questions

Why don’t you show prices on the website?

Feed and farm input prices change often with supplier prices. To make sure you always get the correct, current price, we confirm prices on WhatsApp, by phone or in the shop. It only takes a minute.

How do I order?

Tap “Order via WhatsApp” on any product, or send us your list on WhatsApp at 0727 776 431. We reply with prices, availability and delivery cost. Once you confirm and pay, we pack and deliver, or you collect at the shop.

How do I pay?

By M-Pesa or cash at the shop. We share our M-Pesa payment details only from our official number 0727 776 431 or at the counter. Never pay to any other number claiming to be Chanan.

Where do you deliver?

Around Ngong, Karen, Kiserian, Rongai, Kikuyu, Kitengela, Kiambu, Athi River and across Nairobi. Bulk animal feed orders are delivered countrywide. See Delivery & returns.

Do you sell in bulk?

Yes. For dairy farms, poultry units, schools and farmer groups we quote for bulk and regular feed supplies. Request a bulk quote.

Do you sell veterinary medicines and pesticides?

Yes, at the shop in Ngong, where our qualified staff can advise you on the right product and safe use. As the law requires, these are not sold online.

Can I book day-old chicks?

Yes. Tell us the type (kienyeji, layers or broilers), the number and when you need them, and we’ll confirm availability and the collection or delivery date.

Are your products genuine?

We buy from registered Kenyan manufacturers and authorised distributors, and check expiry dates. If you are ever unsure about a product, ask us to show you the packaging and batch details.

Can I return something?

Wrong, damaged or expired items are replaced or refunded if you tell us within 24 hours. Unopened equipment and sealed packs can be returned within 7 days. See Delivery & returns for details.

Can you advise me on feeding or a sick animal?

Our staff are happy to give general advice on feeds, seeds and farm products. For sick animals, visit the shop or consult a veterinary professional so the animal can be properly examined.

When are you open?

Every day from 7am to 7pm at Kahara Road, Ngong Town.
